Community Satisfaction Survey

We are undertaking our annual community satisfaction survey from Saturday 1 March 2025. Residents are chosen randomly to take part in the survey, which asks for feedback on the services council delivers.

  • The survey is conducted in-person by doorknock, by an independent agency.
  • We use the survey results to better understand your needs, wants and expectations. This helps us to shape the Council Plan and delivery of services.
  • Your details and individual responses are confidential. Data is de-identified.
  • Residents will not be asked to provide financial or banking details as part of this survey.
  • Your feedback is valuable to us, so we hope you can take part if you’re contacted. Thank you.

Doorknock campaigns

As part of our Community Satisfaction Survey 2025, the contracted surveyors will be carrying a letter of authorisation to conduct the research on behalf of Council.

This letter is proof of the legitimacy of the survey, and you can request to review the letter before you agree to participate.

Call campaigns

If you receive a call requesting personal information on behalf of Council, you can ask the caller to verify their identity and their authorisation to contact you on behalf of Council.

From time to time, residents report receiving phone calls from person/s claiming to be from Cardinia Shire Council. When callers are asked to verify their identity after requesting personal information, they often hang up.

If you’re not sure about the authenticity of a caller claiming to be from Council, please call our Customer Support team on 1300 787 624. We report incidences of scam calls to Scamwatch at the ACCC.
