Growing conditions
Dry to moist well drained soils in woodlands. Light frosts. Full sun, partial shade.
Commonly used for
Very attractive mass planted in rockeries, in a drift or at the base of trees. Containers. Rosette similar to dandelions but hairy. Collect seed as they can be short lived.
