Community Capital Works Grants Program

Community capital works grants  (Category 1)

• All funded works will be coordinated and delivered by Council. Committees/clubs do not need to undertake any of the works themselves.
• The community group is not required to provide a financial contribution.
•  Maximum: $20,000 per project.
• Grants available from a set priorities list.

2025/26 applications were open from 20 January to 20 March 2025 and are currenly under review.

Community capital works partnership grants (Category 2)

• Grants of up to $35,000 are available for community groups and organisations that manage public facilities on Council owned or Crown land.  
• Applicants manage the works with guidance from Council.   
• Applicants must contribute funding based on their annual income. 
• Two stage application process – Stage 1- Expression of Interest- Simple Application, Stage 2 – Detailed Application.

2025/26 supported applications were open from 20 January to 20 March 2025 and are currenly under review.

Major equipment grants (Category 3)

• Grants of up to $20,000 are available to go towards major maintenance equipment.
• Equipment purchases are used to help maintain sporting grounds, outer grounds or large internal areas.
• Community groups must provide dollar-for-dollar matched funding.
