Community Support & Share

A number of local agencies, church groups and community-based organisations offer food, material aid and community meals in Cardinia Shire. Find a list at Cardinia Support.

Council is partnering with organisations to support local community groups, schools, sporting clubs, and businesses interested in running food donation drives for local families and individuals. 

Community donations play a huge role in ensuring local organisations have enough food supply to provide to all individuals and families services support each week. These donations offer relief and assistance to those facing financially challenging times in our community.  

This initiative provides an opportunity for community to make donations at locations they visit regularly and ensures donations are distributed locally. 

Donation Points

The following locations are verified donation points:

• Council Civic Centre, 20 Siding Avenue, Officer 

For donation collections or to become a donation point, please contact Council’s Community Support facilitators on 1300 787 624 or communitysupportadmin@cardinia.vic.gov.au  

Distribution Points

Donations will be distributed to residents and families through the following not-for-profit organisations:

• Have Hope 

• Bless Collective 

• Salvation Army Pakenham Doorway 

• Living Learning Pakenham

Donations

Please place donations neatly inside the donation bins. Donations can include:  

• Non-perishable food items within expiration dates 

• Non-perishable sanitary items
