Liveability Survey
Key points
- During July and August 2019, 2,600 households in Cardinia Shire will be invited to take part in a Liveability Survey.
- Households are randomly selected to ensure urban and rural areas and a variety of household types are represented.
- By doing the survey, you’ll be helping to inform the next steps we take towards creating a more liveable community.
- Survey responses are completely anonymous.
How we will use the survey results
Survey results will help us monitor how we are progressing with the 7 long-term goals in our Liveability Plan 2017-29. Monitoring this progress is a Victorian Government requirement.
The Liveability Plan aims to:
- improve mental health and wellbeing
- improve social cohesion
- improve safety
- improve healthy eating and active living
- reduce family violence
- improve financial wellbeng and resilience
- reduce harm from alcohol, tobacco, drugs and gambling.
