Footpath program
2023-24 Footpath program
As part of the 2023-24 Footpath program, Council has built 11 new footpaths across the shire.
These new footpaths will connect local communities and missing footpath links in established townships.
Over 15kms of concrete and gravel paths will be installed on:
- Henry Road, Pakenham
- Heritage Boulevard, Pakenham
- Princes Highway, north side (behind 76 Ebony Drive), Pakenham
- Army Road, Pakenham (corner of Baltaser Road continuing to number 40 south along the reserve and connecting into the existing footpath)
- Bailey Road, Corner Garden Road, Cockatoo
- Belgrave-Gembrook Road, Avonsleigh (opposite Avonsleigh General Store and connecting into the existing bus stop)
- Fairway Road corner Macclesfield Road, Avonsleigh
- Wellington Road, Clematis
- Belgrave-Gembrook Road, Cockatoo
- Main Street, Garfield
- McDonalds Track, Lang Lang
2022-23 Footpath program
As part of the 2022-2023 Footpath program, a total of over 3kms of concrete and gravel paths were be installed on:
- Tynong Road, Tynong
- Gembrook Road, Gembrook
- Margaret Road, Avonsleigh
- Fieldstone Boulevard, Beaconsfield
- Sailsbury Street, Lang Lang
