Autumn Teenage School Holiday Program 2025
About the program
- Our Teenage School Holiday program is open to young people aged 12 to 17 years.
- Activities are held across Cardinia Shire during the school holidays. Most activities are low cost or free.
- Transport to and from some activities - from selected locations may be available. Please contact My Place Youth Centre for further information.
- Bookings for all activities are essential. Please book using the online form.
My Place Youth Facility is open for reduced hours during school holidays, from 1pm to 5pm.
Week 1 activities
Tuesday 8th April - Skate Lessons With a World Champion Pro Skater
Cost: Free
Location: Beaconsfield Skate Park: Holm park Reserve 100 Beaconsfield-Emerald Road Beaconsfield
Two Sessions: Session 1. (Beginners) - 10.30am to 11.30am, Session 2. (Some Experience) - 11.40am to 12.40pm
What to bring: If you have your own skateboard, and helmet please bring them along. If you don’t have your own, you can lend on from the Shredability Crew, but the supply is limited.
What will be provided: Water and snacks will be provided for this activity. Bring your own packed lunch, and extra drinks to keep up yourself hydrated and energised
Added Information: You can book into one or both sessions, please indicate on the booking form which session/s you want to attend. If it rains the event may have to postpone or cancel, notification will be sent via email. Please arrive 10 minutes before the lesson starts to be signed in.

Wednesday 9th April - X-Golf Excursion (Virtual Golf Game/s)
Cost: $20
Location: Unit 2/52 Selennium Way Clyde North
Time: 1pm - 3pm
What to bring: Comfortable clothing and footwear to play Virtual Reality golf in, no thongs allowed enclosed shoes only
What about lunch: Please bring a Packed Lunch/food or money to purchase food from the venue. If you need a packed lunch provided, please contact My Place Youth Centre.
Added Information: Private transport has been arranged for this activity, please arrive at My Place Youth Centre at 12:00pm to sign in, the bus will leave at 12.20pm Sharp.
The bus will return to the Youth Centre by 4.00PM (approximately and dependant on traffic)
Thursday 10th April - All things UNO
Cost: Free
Location: My Place, 5 – 7 Main St Pakenham
Time: 1.30 – 3.30pm
What to bring: Your friendly competitive nature and a sense of fun
What will be provided: Water and snacks will be provided for this activity
Added Information: Original UNO, UNO attack, UNO flip, UNO no mercy, will all be available to play all afternoon. Which one will you choose and who will be declared the UNO Champion
Friday 11th April- UpCycle Art
Cost: Free
Location: My Place, 5 – 7 Main St Pakenham
Time: 1.30 – 3.30pm
What to bring: Your creative flare, old clothes as this activity can get messy
What will be provided: Water and snacks will be provided for this activity
Added Information: Transform something old and ugly into something new, funky and fun. Choose from a chest full of treasures from a garden gnome, to a porcelain figure the youth services team have searched high and low to bring you these treasures, now it’s your turn to transform them and turn someone else trash into your very own treasure This activity can get very messy so please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy, aprons and gloves will be provided for this activity.
Week 2 activities
Monday 14th April - All things Easter - An Afternoon of Easter Activties
Cost: Free
Location: My Place, 5 – 7 Main St Pakenham
Time: 1.30 – 3.30pm
What to bring: Sense of fun and your holiday spirit
What will be provided: Water and snacks will be provided for this activity
Added Information: Help the youth team get ready for the Easter Holiday with an afternoon of Easter Fun. There will be something for everyone to enjoy from an Easter egg hunt, egg toss, easter themed crafts and so much more
Tuesday 15th April - Mario Kart Challenge
Cost: Free
Location: My Place, 5 – 7 Main St Pakenham
Time: 1.30pm - 3.30pm
What to bring: A friendly sense of competition and be ready for some racing action
What will be provided: Water and snacks will be provided for this activity
Added Information: This will be a round robin tournament to find the Mario Champion
Thursday 17th April - Easter Chocolate Moulds
Cost: Free
Location: My Place, 5 – 7 Main St Pakenham
Time: 1.30pm - 3.30pm
What to bring: Old clothes, creativity and your appetite
What will be provided: You can eat what you make
Added Information: This activity can get messy so please wear old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, Aprons and clothes will be provided. Closed toed shoes must be worn
Friday 18th April - Good Friday - My Place will be CLOSED
