Cardinia Cultural Centre mini exhibitions starting soon!
From Monday 27 February, the ‘CCC Capsule’ will transform into a unique artistic display every six weeks showcasing work from artists far and wide.
Expressions of interest were sought from innovative and diverse artists to hold a six-week mini exhibition in the CCC Capsule, which is the glass cabinet near the main entrance inside the foyer of Cardinia Cultural Centre.
Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor Tammy Radford said that this opportunity is perfect for artists who want their work to be seen.
“The cabinet at CCC has a high level of foot traffic passing by each day, which allows the artists a platform to exhibit their work to a new audience,” she said.
“We’re looking forward to displaying a variety of visual mediums over the year and representing a range of themes and ideas.”
To view the series of mini exhibitions, visit Cardinia Cultural Centre throughout the year between 10am and 3pm daily.
The CCC Capsule is currently home to a display honouring Cardinia Cultural Centre’s 20th birthday that features a series of old photographs and memorabilia highlighting the venue’s history.
