Expressions of interest open for Community Capital Works Grants
Cardinia Shire Council has today opened expressions of interest for Category 2 (Partnership Grants) as part of the Community Capital Works Grants Program 2024-25.
The Community Capital Works Grants Program assists community groups to improve community facilities that are used to strengthen local networks and support community wellbeing.
Grants of up to $35,000 are available for capital works on Council owned, or Crown land in Cardinia Shire, with contributions from applicants.
Examples of past grant recipients include the Cora Lynn Football Club, which secured grant funding towards a LED electronic scoreboard upgrade, and the Cardinia Environment Coalition, which used the grant funding to construct a new pot wash facility at Deep Creek Nursery.
Applicants can express interest for the Partnership Grants online at https://cardinia.smartygrants.com.au/
Expression of interest applications will close 5pm, Friday 1 December 2023.
All applications for the Community Capital Works Grants 2024-25, including supported Category 2 applications, will be open from January to March 2024.
