Free skills development workshops for community groups

The workshops will be held between February and June 2024 to support our volunteer community organisations such as sporting clubs, neighbourhood houses and community asset committees. 

Grant writing workshop

Find out how to write successful grant applications, as well as information on what grants are available, and where to find them.

Strategic planning workshop

Learn more about the fundamentals of strategic planning for community groups, including marketing, recruitment and fundraising. Expressions of interest are sought as spaces are limited for this session.

Securing your future with a fundraising plan 

This workshop will equip community groups with the skills to raise funds to achieve their short and long term goals

Social media marketing for community groups 

Find out how community groups can reach new audiences and the pros and cons of using social media and online platforms for marketing
