Pakenham Golf Course update
Cardinia Shire Council is continuing to investigate options for the future use of the Pakenham Golf Course, following the closure of the golf course and Deep Creek Function Centre on 1 April.
Council has engaged a specialist contractor to continue to maintain the golf course and treat the weed infestation that had damaged the golf greens.
In the meantime, it’s been great to see community members continuing to visit the site to enjoy the Deep Creek Eco Playspace, wetlands and kickabout area, and toilet facilities which will remain open.
The Cardinia Environment Coalition also continues to operate from the site.
Council will continue to keep the community informed with any updates regarding the Pakenham Golf Course site as more information comes to hand.
