Business breakfast with a side of courage
The final Casey Cardinia Business Breakfast for 2017 will serve up a side of courage with keynote speaker Nadine Champion.
The event will be held 6.45–9am on Wednesday 29 November 2017 at the Cardinia Cultural Centre, 40 Lakeside Boulevard, Pakenham.
Nadine Champion is a martial arts Sensei, author, entrepreneur and truly inspiring keynote speaker; her closing speech at TEDx Sydney is regarded as one of the most memorable of all time. A ‘thought leader’ on courage, inner strength and resilience, Nadine has presented for a wealth of notable companies, including Facebook and Telstra.
In her book, 10 seconds of courage: How to recognise and embrace life changing moments, Nadine provides practical yet dynamic concepts for better handling adverse situations to create positive outcomes, overcoming challenges and moving forward. Her delivery is humorous, educational and touching in equal measure, and with a powerful call to action, Nadine challenges her audience to change their thinking in order to succeed.
Cardinia Shire Mayor Cr Brett Owen said the final business breakfast for the year is sure to encourage the local business community with renewed confidence, focus and ideas.
“In business, and in life, none of us are immune to adversity and challenge, and for some the fear of failure or the unknown can be crippling, hindering goal attainment. Attendees will learn to develop and harness their own strength and resilience with Nadine’s inspiring messages and practical tips for mustering courage during difficult situations,” said Cr Brett Owen.
“The breakfast is also a great opportunity to forge new connections within the local business community and to further your professional development. But, we often sell out of tickets to these events quickly, so I encourage people to register now to avoid disappointment.”
