Cardinia Shire Council has released a draft framework to guide the growth and development of the Officer town centre.

The draft Officer Town Centre Urban Design Framework is now available for viewing, feedback can be provided and a community information session will be held on Wednesday 10 February.

“We know the community are keen to find out how Officer will develop into the future and this is a great opportunity to get involved,” she said.

“The framework includes everything from land use requirements, buildings and parks to information about trees, signs and walking and cycling paths. We want to ensure the Officer town centre is a vibrant, attractive and sustainable town centre that residents can enjoy with pride.”

A drop-in information session on the draft Officer Town Centre Urban Design Framework will be held from 2–8pm on Wednesday 10 February at Officer Recreation Reserve, corner of Princes Highway and Starling Road, Officer.
